Text Box: The objective of our Association is to provide support, education (CPD) and some social activities for members. We provide political assistance enabling members to have direct representation on a number of Government panels, including: The Dental Board of Australia (SA) Adelaide University CPDent Advisory Committee The Oral Health Advisory Committee We also have a voice on the Board of the national body ADPA Limited, with representation by two Directors, appointed by State members of the Association. ADPA Limited is able to deal effectively with National issues that may arise, and has representation on a number of Federal Government bodies including: Dental Board of Australia Australian Dental Council Scope of Practice for Dental Prosthetists DVA Health Fund Rebates It is vital for the ADPA to remain active and represent Prosthetists’ interests within governing bodies. We appreciate the financial support of all members which helps us maintain and also improve the position of Dental Prosthetists within the Dental Team.
